Seamday

Privacy policy

Last updated October 15, 2026

Seamday is a planner for students who also work. This page explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, and how to delete everything. Short version: we only keep what the planner needs, we don't sell data, and we don't show ads.

What we collect

Syllabus import

When you import a syllabus, the photo, file or text you choose is sent to Anthropic, whose AI model (Claude) reads it and returns the exams and homework it finds. Seamday does not store the file. Only the items you review and add are saved. Anthropic processes the content to provide this service under its commercial terms, which do not allow it to train its models on it.

How we use it

We don't sell your data, share it for advertising, or use third-party analytics or tracking.

Who helps us run Seamday

These providers process data only to run their part of the service:

Cookies

We use a sign-in cookie to keep you signed in and a cookie that remembers your light or dark theme. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and everything in it straight away. Copies in our providers' backups are removed when those backups expire.

Your rights

You can see and change your information in the app, and delete it all as described above. For anything else, including a copy of your data, email hello@seamday.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Age

Seamday is for people aged 13 and over. If you are younger, please don't sign up.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For important changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email first.
